Discover Stellini Pasta Bar

If you're looking for a cozy spot that offers a fresh take on Italian cuisine, Stellini Pasta Bar in Kensington is an absolute gem. Located at 11 High St, Kensington NSW 2033, this charming eatery has been making waves with its creative pasta dishes and laid-back atmosphere. Whether you're in the mood for a casual lunch or a dinner out with friends, Stellini delivers a memorable experience from start to finish.

The vibe at Stellini is warm and inviting, with rustic décor that immediately puts you at ease. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy a glass of wine, and dive into a plate of pasta crafted with care. When you walk in, the delicious smells from the kitchen are enough to make your mouth water. The kitchen is open, so you get a behind-the-scenes view of the team in action, adding to the experience.

As for the menu, Stellini is all about elevating traditional pasta dishes with a modern twist. One standout item is their signature hand-made pasta, which comes in a variety of shapes and sauces. The rich and hearty Bolognese is a crowd favorite, made with slow-cooked beef and a blend of herbs that gives it a depth of flavor unlike any other. For those who love something a bit lighter, the lemon and ricotta ravioli is a refreshing choice, with the tangy citrus flavor balancing beautifully with the creamy filling.

Another notable feature of Stellini Pasta Bar is the commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. It’s clear that quality is at the forefront of every dish, from the carefully selected cheeses to the farm-fresh vegetables. You can truly taste the difference in every bite.

If you’re in the mood for something a bit more adventurous, the menu also offers unique seasonal specials that take advantage of whatever ingredients are fresh at the time. Recent specials have included a vibrant beetroot pasta topped with goat cheese and roasted nuts, a dish that’s both visually striking and full of flavor.

But what really sets Stellini apart from other Italian restaurants in the area is the personalized touch. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to offer suggestions based on your preferences. They take the time to explain the menu, and if you’re unsure what to try, they’ll be more than happy to guide you to the perfect dish. This kind of attentive service helps elevate the experience and makes you feel like more than just a customer-you’re a guest in their restaurant.

As with any great dining experience, the drinks list at Stellini is carefully curated to complement the food. The wine selection features a mix of Australian and Italian wines, with options to pair perfectly with each dish. Whether you prefer a light white or a robust red, there’s something on the list to suit every taste. The cocktail menu is also a treat, with unique concoctions that are perfect for starting off your meal or enjoying as an evening nightcap.

The dessert menu is another highlight at Stellini. The tiramisu is a classic, but the real showstopper is the pistachio panna cotta, which is creamy, nutty, and just the right amount of sweet. It's the perfect way to round off a meal that’s already been a culinary delight.

If you’re someone who loves to read reviews before heading out, you’ll find plenty of praise for Stellini Pasta Bar online. Patrons often rave about the impeccable service, the cozy atmosphere, and, of course, the food. Many have described it as their go-to spot for a relaxing, yet delicious, dining experience in Kensington.

In terms of location, Kensington offers a central spot for both locals and visitors to enjoy a meal, and Stellini fits right in with its charming, no-fuss appeal. Whether you’re a resident or just passing through, this is a place you’ll want to keep in your rotation.

For those planning to visit, it's worth mentioning that while Stellini can get busy, particularly on weekends, it's well worth the wait. The atmosphere, the food, and the overall experience make it a standout choice for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine with a personal touch.

  • I don't study at UNSW, but this pasta place is just the best in town for what the price is. My go-to pastas are carbonara and bolognese. PLUS their soup of the day (it's always pumpkin soup) sooo yummy!

  • Absolutely incredible food and coffee! Nimesh is super friendly and always goes above and beyond – not to mention he makes amazing food. The atmosphere is cozy, and everything on the menu is full of flavor. Easily one of my favorite spots – highly recommend!

  • Had pesto and carbonara. Very authentic and delicious food with decent portion and price! Definitely good choice for weekday meals! Fungi is great as well! This has been our all time fav lunch spot on campus! Update: Spinachi is my new fav now! It goes really well with penne because the sauce will be stuffed inside the noodles! Go try it!

  • A really solid pick for campus eats. I'm not a pasta fanatic myself, but after being hounded by others to give it a go, I did, and yeah it's really quite good! The price and speed of service is quite average, but for a good tasting meal that fills you up easily, plus is quite easy to eat and take around campus, it's an all round pick.

  • This place is incredible!! I’ve been looking for a new pasta place since every other Italian restaurant is way too overpriced these days (and hardly authentic), so I ordered from here and it’s AMAZING. This is the most authentic tasting pasta I’ve had since my trip to Italy. Huge portions and you can tell they don’t cut corners with their ingredients. Best part is that it’s reasonably priced!

  • I’ve been a regular customer at Stellini Pasta for over a year now and they never disappoint. Their carbonara is the best!! You can almost never find pasta with such reasonable prices in Sydney. Thank you to Nimesh who is always so kind and helpful whenever I’m there :))

  • Tried this spot for the first time and overall it was a decent experience. We ordered a bacon pizza and a chicken one. Both were alright—not bad, but nothing particularly memorable either. The crust was cooked well and the cheese was gooood, but the flavours didn’t quite pop the way we were hoping. Service was friendly and quick, and the place was clean with a nice vibe. Might give it another shot to try something different on the menu. Solid, but room for improvement.
